Visit beautiful Flagstaff, gateway to the scenic wonders of Northern Arizona, and discover the exciting vacation opportunities it has to offer.  At 7,000 feet above sea level Flagstaff is the largest city in the U.S. completely surrounded by National Forest.

The 4 million acre Coconino National Forest offers outstanding recreational adventures -- camping, hiking trails, mountain biking, and cross country skiing.  Within an hour's drive or so you can visit Grand Canyon National Park, Wupatki, Sunset Crater, and Walnut Canyon National Monuments. With many fine hotels & restaurants, Flagstaff is a great place to stop for those seeking to recharge their batteries after a full day of exploring.

Be sure to visit our Flagstaff Nature Photo Gallery for  a preview of what you'll see when you include this area in your Southwest vacation plans.  The San Francisco Peaks, located just north of town, reach almost 13,000 feet.  Often covered with snow and visible from over 50 miles away, these beautiful mountains are sacred to many of the region's Native American tribes.

Flagstaff is home to Northern Arizona University, The Museum of Northern Arizona, Riordan Ranch State Park, and is the commercial hub for the entire Northern Arizona region.  Flagstaff  is serviced by air, rail, and bus transportation.  Visitors will find cultural events ranging from great blues music and pro rodeo to Native American pow-wows.  The city is also becoming a popular retirement area.  We've put together a list of Flagstaff Realtors and included an Flagstaff street map for visitors thinking of relocating here.

Enjoy your Flagstaff vacation!
